Cherchez la vague? Cherchez la femme! Summer in the French surf town of Biarritz does not last quite as long as it does in California. Therefore the two founders of La Femme found enough time to master what is known as the third beach boy discipline aside from surfing and skateboarding: surf music! What began at the Atlantic coast was continued in Paris with an extra helping of french folie. Cold wave, surf wave, mental wave, psych wave: La Femme became a 6-piece band, not afraid of touching any genre as long as it ends on the word wave. In France La Femme are already quite a phenomenon and we’re certain that with the the current temperatures their first album «Psycho Tropical Berlin» won’t have a hard time in our city either.
