Let’s admit it. Here at Torstraßen Festival we also have a thing for friendly music and the friendly characters making it. We like it dreamy, blurry, washed out and unclear. We like it when analogue meets digital meet, we like DIY-perfectionists, modest yet über-talented. Melbourne’s Wintercoats aka James Wallace represents all of the above. As a gifted violin player he loops and layers string arrangements weaving a soft and beautiful carpet to lay down on, eyes closed, ready for take-off.
