Is Torstra\u00dfen Festival really only in one place this year?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yep! The festival which is themed \u201cThe Knot\u201d is tied up in the various rooms of the Volksb\u00fchne Theatre. This way there are short distances between stages making it easier to meet people, check out the label market and to have an all together better and more relaxed festival experience.<\/p>\n

How do I get a ticket?<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the online shop<\/a><\/span> of the Volksb\u00fchne.

\nOn the day of the festival at the ticket counter.<\/p>\n

When are things starting?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Label Market opens at noon (12:00) and is free to the public. Concerts start at 14:00 and you need a ticket<\/a><\/span> to gain entry. The complete timetable can be found here<\/a><\/span>. It\u2019s a good idea to come early! Our shows are not scheduled hierarchically. The shows start with Tara Nome Doyle at 14:00 with 3 parallel shows happening afterwords at 15:00.<\/p>\n

What is included in a Festival Ticket?<\/strong><\/p>\n

With a ticket you have access to 27 different concerts and DJ sets from 14:00 till 4 in the morning. The Club Night program is included in the ticket so you can have an entire day and night of music.<\/p>\n

I want to see a specific concert at the festival!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The festival capacity is obviously much larger than each stage\/room has capacity for, especially the small Rangfoyer and Dritte Stock stages. Get to the stage early before the concert starts in order to ensure you get a spot. If a room is full then we will not allow more people to enter.<\/p>\n

Do kids get in free?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yep! Kids 14 years old or younger get in free.<\/p>\n

Is the Label Market Free?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is! From noon to 18:00 the label representatives will be at their stands and you can find your favorite hits and rarities. Definitely a highlight for vinyl fans and collectors. There will also be a few free small workshops and talks throughout the day.<\/p>\n

Can I also just come to the Club Night?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yep! Tickets for the club night will be available on the door starting at 23:00 and cost 10 \u20ac.<\/p>\n

Is the Volksbh\u00fchne fully accessible to people with disabilities?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, only parts of the festival are accessible to people with disabilities. Specifically, The Independent Label Market and the Main Theatre (the \u201cGro\u00dfen Haus\u201d) are accessible. If you come with a wheelchair and would like to see a show in the Main Theatre, we recommend that you notify us beforehand so that we can reserve a space for you.<\/p>\n

Is reaching the festival via public transport accessible?<\/strong><\/p>\n

At https:\/\/wheelmap.org\/ you can find and overview of the specs for accessible train stations. The U Bahnhof Rosa Luxemburg Plat which is directly in front of the Volksb\u00fchne is unfortunately not accessible.<\/p>\n
