If you’ve ever thought of pimping your CV, here’s some inspiration: Ellison Renee Glenn grew up in the woods of Alabama. With his mother he moved to Germany, then later to New York where he built an interdisciplinary profile as a poet, producer and remixer called Black Cracker. In the workshops at Urban Word NYC the two-time National Poetry Slam Champion passed on his lyrical skills to teenagers, in Cuba he produced a rap album and lately he also published a book of his poems and drawings. Black Cracker brings recommendation letters from his former project Bunny Rabbit, his collaboration with Coco Rosie and his work as a co-producer for the experimental piano project Grand Pianoramax. With that in mind we’re looking forward to meeting a profound and sincere visionary, a remarkable personality with a big smile and a lot of things to say.
