Die Auflösung

2013

Network Awesome & ExBerliner present:
Die Auflösung.

The three protagonists of Die Auflösung nonchalantly describe themselves as good-for-nothings who for the purpose of pleasure and disport transform dissonance into consonance. Huh? Ok, let’s start at the beginning: Die Auflösung is German for deconstruction and that is philosophian for dismantling a text, levelling its hierarchies, easing its antagonisms and finally creating a new element free from those contradictions. Eh, alright. Die Auflösung do just that with music. They take apart what is usually conditioned, they reorder, they allow free play to the elements. Coexistence. All in a constant state of flux. The outcome is a dry kind of funk-rock, krauty in its hypothesis, noisy in its conclusion and groovy in the footnotes. Theoretically that’s a lot of fun. And practically it is, too.
