Behind Millennium’s hyper-real almost corporate design stands a surprising joint-venture between Torstraßen Festival shareholder Norman Palm and Ville Haimala, also known as one of the developers of finnish electronic duo Renaissance Man. The self-conception of their start-up is interdisciplinary. Haimala’s digital productions meet Palm’s keen sense of melody and sentiment resulting in an experimental yet catchy update of a thing called pop music. Besides the music their concept contains a strong visual language: Slick aesthetics of an over-dynamic and buzzword-ridden world collide with Millennium’s escapist sounds, a clash deliberately sabotaging common expectations. Both image and sound found the trust of analysts from Spex to Spin Magazine and following an audiovisual Start-Up Kit their first EP entitled «Terms & Conditions» was released by London and Berlin-based record label Greco-Roman. We predict a sustained disruptive impact on the market and invite you to join the circle of early adopters.
