Noisey presents: Zentralheizung of Death.
After the wave of new garage bands rolling in a few years ago –some called it the new garage explosion– we’re eventually able to separate amber from sea weed. The bands who played hide and seek in the noise of a few 7inches have vanished into thin air. The others who really know their stuff have started to straighten out their sound. Zentralheizung of Death is one of those and has risen like a phoenix from the Thuringian woodwork into a the pantheon of psychy garage punk. There is no better proof for this than their latest 7″ EP called Busty Ghost, released on Alien Snatch: The oevres of bloodcurdling and hiploosening hit potential causing extreme uncontrollableness and frequent throw-your-hands-in-the-air-ness among any audience. Oh, and Zentralheizung means central heating by the way. (Andreas Richter / Noisey)
