Talk: Music for a Different Realism

TSF’18 Opening Talk:
»Music For A Different Realism«

Friday, June 8, 8pm
ACUD Studio, Veteranenstraße 21
In English / Free Entrance

Revolving around this year’s festival motto »Forever« we would like to invite you to a public talk discussing and debating how a seemingly eternal present, a capitalist realism of injustices, binaries, ecological degradation and cultural setbacks can be questioned, tackled, and inverted towards a new kind of realism. Through the means of music, what are the notions, sounds, and dreams of a (much) different future?

We’re looking forward to a diverse range of guests:

[{“CIBELLE”(CAVALLI}BASTOS)], artist / musician
Deena Abdelwahed, musician
André Uhl, musician / futurologist
Leonhard Hieronymi, author

The talk is moderated by Henning Lahmann.
