Within the long tradition of indisputable fascination with our artists let us state the following: Skiing is a fantastic band. The fact that they are called Skiing is fantastic already. Because skiing (the sport) is almost as much fun as this band, it is almost as stuck in the 90ies as this band and it has, just like the band, so many sensations to offer, from goosebumps to muscle twitching. Post-pragmatic joy, let’s forget about meta for a moment, this is fun! Skiing is one of many great new bands in the circles of a new Berlin-based label called Späti Palace. And also are they part of the great return of the band-bands, an influx of college combos, promoted by American labels such as Burger Records for example. Skiing though are located in Berlin and function in the sphere of American singer and songwriter Everett Darling.
