Im ehemaligen Bank und Wertdepot der 1841 erbauten „Brauerei Pfeffer“ das auch von der Sparkasse der DDR seit den 60ern als solches genutzt wurde, präsentiert sich das „Bassy“, inklusive Empore zum Spannen und Entspannen. Im Clubraum mit hoher Decke und großem Dancefloor trifft sich die Berliner Partyszene bei Rock n Roll, Beatmusik, und Kultur. Wer den Weg hierher findet kennt sich aus. Zeit zum Chillen und Smalltalken finden Tanzmüde im Tresorraum und in der Lounge.
Die großzügige Raumaufteilung verbunden mit den alten Bauelementen aus Tonklinker, gewinkelten Mauersprüngen und erhaltener Tresortüre spiegeln den Ursprung der Architektur unversehrt wieder. Sämtliche Einbauten, wie der Altberliner-Tresen mit dunkler Holzkassette, das Parkett aus Räuchereiche, schmiedeeiserne Gitter usw. sind keine Stangenware, sondern fügen sich handgemacht in die Baulichkeit ein. Die Dekoration lehnt sich ohne Dogmatismus an die musikalische Ära der 50er und 60er Jahre an.
Ledersofas, alte Kirchenbänke und klassische Barhocker bieten eine bunte jedoch Stil sichere Sitzgelegenheit. Die kleineren Lounge erinnert in ihrer üppigen Dekoration an ein öffentliches Wohnzimmer, während der Tanzraum durch die Empore im hinteren Bereich luftiger wirkt und auch als Schauplatz der wöchentlichen stattfindenden Konzerten dient.
Die hauseigenen Wochenendveranstaltungen bewegen sich im musikalischen Rahmen der 50er, 60er, und 70er Jahre, greifen hier jedoch ein deutlich untergründigeres Spektrum weit weg von Rolling Stones oder Beatles auf. Wenig bekannten Raritäten und beinahe vergessenen Legenden verschaffen wir neues Gehör. Die Abende beginnen stets mit einem Live-Konzert. Selbst Wanda Jackson, Tav Falco, Andre Williams, The Pretty Things oder Boss Hoss standen bereits auf unserer Bühne und seit 2013 auch die Künstler und Musiker des Torstrassenfestivals.
Danach legen ambitionierteste Sixties DJ`s, ihr mitgebrachtes Vinyl auf. Rhythm&Blues, R&R, Soul, Garage, Beat uvm. Animiert zur langen Tanznacht.

In the former banking and securities custodian 1841 built „Brewery Pepper “ the was also used by the Savings Bank of East Germany since the 60s , as such , presents our „Bassy”, including loft for stretching and relaxing. In the club room with high ceilings and large dance floor , the Berlin hits Party Scene at Rock n Roll, beat music , and culture. Those who find their way here , knows his stuff. Time to chill out and find smalltalk dance Tired in Vault and in the lounge.The spacious layout connected with the old building components mudbricks angled wall jumps and got safe door mirror the Architecture originated unharmed. All installations such as the old Berlin – bar with dark wood case , the Hardwood smoked oak , wrought iron grill etc. are no barform , but they provide handmade in the physical structure.
The decor leans without dogmatism of the musical era of the 50s and 60 years. Leather sofas , old church pews and classic bar stools offer a colorful but Stylish seating. The smaller lounge reminiscent in its lush Decoration to a public living room while the dance space by the Acts airy loft in the rear area and also as a venue for the
weekly concerts taking place serves Club room. Join us at ACUD on Thursday, April 6 for our second warm up event: TSF 17 x Mansions & Millions. Berlin based DIY label Mansions & Millions is home to the increasingly high profile local artists Better Person and Magic Island. For this partnership the label has curated a rich lineup, featuring the multitalented left field pop savant Helen Fry, the post industrial artist Normal Echo, and 80s pop hit throwback Karolini.
